Elf Bar ElfX Mega Vape Kit

The Elf Bar ElfX Mega is Elf Bar's most powerful pod kit — a flagship device built for vapers who demand extended battery life, premium coil performance, and precise control. Powered by a 2800mAh battery, up to 32W output, QUAQ Dual Mesh and QUAQ DURA coil technology delivering triple the pod lifespan of standard pods, Eco and Turbo power modes, and a smart OLED screen. £14.99 at EcigsUK.

QUAQ DURA Technology — Triple Pod Lifespan

The ElfX Mega's QUAQ DURA coil technology combines Elf Bar's dual mesh architecture — splitting the heating surface across two coil strips — with a reinforced cotton structure engineered to resist burnout through repeated refills. The result is pods that last up to three times longer than standard alternatives, dramatically reducing running costs while delivering consistently superior flavour throughout their extended lifespan.

Massive 2800mAh Battery

The ElfX Mega's 2800mAh cell delivers 3–4 days of use per charge for moderate vapers — considerably longer than any comparable pod kit. When you do need to charge, USB-C fast charging brings the battery back to full in around two hours.

Eco Mode and Turbo Mode

• Eco Mode — Designed for the 0.8Ω pod: tight MTL draw, lower wattage, extended battery life.
• Turbo Mode — Designed for the 0.6Ω pod at full 32W: open RDTL draw, denser vapour, intensified flavour.

Smart OLED Screen and Adjustable Airflow

A clear OLED screen displays battery level, power mode, and resistance at a glance. The adjustable airflow slider allows independent fine-tuning of draw resistance, giving you significantly more control than standard pod kits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the ElfX Mega different from the ElfX 2?

The ElfX Mega is Elf Bar's premium flagship pod kit, whereas the ElfX 2 is the compact everyday option. The Mega features a significantly larger 2800mAh battery (vs 1700mAh), QUAQ DURA technology that triples pod lifespan, a smart OLED display for real-time information, and two modes specifically calibrated to each pod resistance. The ElfX 2 offers three modes and a lighter form factor — the Mega prioritises endurance and performance above all else.

How long does the 2800mAh battery actually last?

Moderate vapers typically achieve three to four full days of regular vaping per charge — significantly longer than most competing pod kits, which require daily charging. Heavy vapers can expect at least a full day of sustained use. Using Eco Mode reduces power output and extends battery life even further. A complete recharge from empty takes approximately two hours using a standard USB-C cable with 2A output.

What is QUAQ DURA technology and why does it matter?

QUAQ DURA combines Elf Bar's dual mesh coil architecture — two heating strips for more even vaporisation — with a reinforced cotton structure that resists degradation through repeated refills. Where a standard single-mesh pod typically lasts seven to ten days under regular use, a QUAQ DURA pod is engineered to last approximately three times longer. This dramatically reduces running costs and means you spend less time replacing pods and more time vaping.

Which mode should I use — Eco or Turbo?

Use Eco Mode with the 0.8Ω pod for a tight, cigarette-style MTL draw at lower wattage — ideal for 20mg nic salts, all-day use, and maximising battery life. Use Turbo Mode with the 0.6Ω pod at full 32W for a more open RDTL experience with denser vapour and more pronounced flavour. If you're an ex-smoker new to refillable devices, start with Eco Mode and the 0.8Ω pod for the most familiar feel.

What e-liquid should I use in the ElfX Mega?

The ElfX Mega is specifically optimised for 50/50 PG/VG nic salt e-liquids. The Elfliq by Elf Bar range at EcigsUK is the ideal pairing — 38 flavours available at £2.49 per bottle or 5 for £10. The 50/50 blend wicks efficiently through the QUAQ DURA coils, maximising flavour clarity and coil longevity. High-VG shortfills are not recommended as the thicker consistency reduces coil lifespan and flavour quality.

How do I replace an ElfX Mega pod?

Remove the depleted pod from the device by pulling it upward. Take your new ElfX Mega QUAQ DURA replacement pod, fill it via the side-fill port with your chosen nic salt e-liquid, and reinsert it into the device until it clicks firmly into position. Allow ten to fifteen minutes before vaping to let the QUAQ DURA coil fully saturate — this priming step prevents dry hits and significantly extends pod life.

Is the ElfX Mega suitable for beginners?

Yes — despite being Elf Bar's most advanced pod kit, the ElfX Mega remains straightforward to use. Auto-draw activation means you simply inhale to vape with no button required, and the OLED screen provides clear, instant information about battery level and power mode. The kit comes complete with two pods, and the two-mode system is simpler to navigate than the three-mode setup of the ElfX 2. Just add e-liquid and you're ready to go.

Where can I buy ElfX Mega replacement pods?

Elf Bar ElfX Mega QUAQ DURA replacement pods are available at EcigsUK in 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω at £3.49 per pod. Thanks to the QUAQ DURA technology, you'll replace pods far less frequently than with a standard device — meaning the per-pod cost represents significantly better value than the price alone suggests.
